The retransmission timer is designed to ensure data delivery in the absence of an
acknowledgment from the data receiver. The default value is used when no round
trip time (rtt) has yet been computed. Use the no form of the command to return
the rto-def to the global value. If no global settings exist for a parameter, the
factory default parameter is used instead. See RFC 1122 and RFC 2988.

Specifies the maximum allowable roundtrip timeout (rto) value.

milliseconds (inclusive).
The factory default. At the time of publication, the
factory default is 3000 milliseconds.
