If the original is jammed, follow the steps as below.
Document Jam inside front of control panel.

Remove any paper from the
ADF that is not jammed.

Pull the jammed original out
toward the front of the MFC.

Press Stop.

CAUSE
The number you dialled does not
answer or is busy.
You tried to access a One Touch or
Speed Dial number that is not
programmed.
The recording paper is jammed in the
MFC.
An ink cartridge is not installed
properly.
The print head detects low
temperature.
ACTION
Verify the number and try again.
Set up the One Touch or Speed
Dial number. (See One Touch
Dialling in Chapter 4. Also see
Speed Dialling in Chapter 4.)
See Printer Jam in this chapter.
Re-install the ink, seating it
properly. (See Replacing the Ink
Cartridges in this Chapter.)
Wait until the MFC warms up.
