Using the Brother MFC with a New Power Macintosh

8.51/8.6/9.0. (The Brother Scanner Driver works only with Mac OS 8.6/9.0)
Notice to Computer Users
A small filter core and cable tie are enclosed in a vinyl bag with your MFC. PLEASE SAVE
THESE PARTS. You will need them in the future if you connect the MFC to a Computer. For
optimal performance, use a USB Cable with the enclosed Filter Core and Cable Tie.

Installing the Brother Printer and Scanner
Drivers

Turn on the power to your Macintosh and wait for the startup process to be completed.

Insert the Brother CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The window below will appear
automatically.

To install the Printer and
Scanner Drivers, click MFL
Pro Driver Installer.

After installation is completed,
connect a standard USB cable to
both the MFC and the
Macintosh.

Before you can connect the MFC to your Machintosh
cable that is no longer than 6 feet ( 1.8 meters). Attach the bundle filter core and
cable tie to it.
