CAUTION:
First, connect the positive battery lead 1, then
the negative battery lead 2.

11. Lubricate:
• Battery terminals
FUSE INSPECTION
The following procedure applies to all of the fuses.
CAUTION:
To avoid a short circuit, always turn the main
switch off when checking or replacing a fuse.
1. Remove:
• Right side cover
2. Inspect:
• Continuity
Inspection steps:
• Connect the pocket tester to the fuse and check
the continuity.
NOTE:
Set the pocket tester selector to "Ω × 1".
• If the pocket tester indicates "∞", replace the
fuse.

Dirt → Clean with a wire brush.
Loose connection → Connect properly.
Recommended lubricant:
Dielectric grease
Refer to "COVERS" in CHAPTER 3.
