Overview
The Cisco CPAK transceiver module is a hot-swappable input/output device that plugs into a Cisco
CPAK-module on the 8-port 100-Gigabit Ethernet line card
pins (40 pins on the top row and 42 on the bottom row) on the electrical interface and either a duplex SC or
24 fibers-MPO connector on the optical interface

Cisco CPAK 100GBASE-LR4 module: Supports link lengths of up to 10 km over standard
single-mode fiber (SMF).
Cisco CPAK 100GBASE-SR10: Supports link lengths of up to 100 m and 150 m on laser-optimized
OM3 and OM4 multifiber cables, respectively.
