Installing and Removing Cisco CPAK Transceiver Modules

This section provides the installation, cabling, and removal instructions for the CPAK pluggable optical
transceiver modules.
Overview
The Cisco CPAK transceiver module is a hot-swappable input/output device that plugs into a Cisco
CPAK-module on the 8-port 100-Gigabit Ethernet line card
pins (40 pins on the top row and 42 on the bottom row) on the electrical interface and either a duplex SC or
24 fibers-MPO connector on the optical interface
