D. Detecting the Level of Copy Paper
The machine checks the level of copy paper inside the cassette and indicates the level in four degrees.
The level of copy paper inside the cassette is checked in reference to the up movement of the lifter noted
when the light-blocking plate blocks the appropriate sensor.
When copy paper starts to run out, the lifter rises gradually;when paper fully runs out, the cassette
paper sensor (Q1604 for upper) detects the absence of paper.
