Removing and Replacing the DIMM Memory Modules on the Cisco ASR 1006
Router and the Cisco ASR 1013 Router
The Cisco ASR 1006 Router and the Cisco ASR 1013 Router have redundant RPs. The following is an
overview of the steps to remove and replace the DIMM memory modules on these routers:
Step 1
Remove the standby RP by performing the procedure described in the
Series Route Processor from the Cisco ASR 1006, Cisco ASR 1004, and Cisco ASR 1013 Routers"

Remove the DIMM memory module from the standby RP by performing one of the following
