Configuring Dynamic Routing

Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is an Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) that is
commonly used in internal networks. It allows the router to exchange its routing
information automatically with other routers, and allows it to dynamically adjust its
routing tables and adapt to changes in the network.
Dynamic Routing (RIP) enables the CVR100W to automatically adjust to physical
changes in the network's layout and exchange routing tables with the other
routers.
The Router determines the network packets' route based on the fewest number of
hops between the source and the destination.
(Recommended) Click this radio button to set the
CVR100W to act as a gateway.
Keep this default setting if the CVR100W is hosting
your network's connection to the Internet.
Click this radio button to set the CVR100W to act as a
router.
Select this option if the CVR100W is on a network with
other routers.
Enabling the Router mode disables NAT (Network
Address Translation) on the CVR100W.
