The Setup Wizard and Device Manager are supported on Microsoft Internet
Explorer 6.0 or later, Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or later, Apple Safari 3.0 or later and Google
Chrome 5.0 or later.
To launch the Device Manager and complete the Setup Wizard configuration:
Start a computer that you connected to the CVR100W before.The computer
becomes a DHCP client of the CVR100W and receives an IP address in the
192. 1 68. 1 .xxx range.
Launch a web browser and enter 192.168.1.1 in the Address bar. This is the
default IP address of the CVR100W.
When the login page appears, choose the language that you prefer to use in the
Device Manager, and then enter the username and password.
The default username is cisco. The default password is cisco. Passwords are
case sensitive.
Click Log In. The Setup Wizard will now launch.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial configuration.

Configure Admin Password (Step 1 of 4).
The administrative password protects your CVR100W from unauthorized
access. For security reasons, you should change the password from its
default setting. Please write this password down for future reference. A
blank password is not recommanded.
Enter a new password, then click Next to continue.
A new password that is at least 6 characters long and is composed of

lower and upper case letters as well as numbers is recommended.

Configure Connection Type (Step 2 of 4).
Select the Internet connection type to connect to the Internet. Call your
Internet Service Provider if you are not sure what the correct type is.
Specify the corresponding settings based on the selected Internet
connection type, then click Next to continue. See
