Configuring CSC Wireless Network
Cisco CVR100W Wireless-N 300M Router Administration Guide
After the first time you enable Cisco Smart Connect, the name of the CSC wireless
network will be automatically set to Cisco-Smart-Connect, and the security mode
and the security key of the CSC wireless network will be set to the same settings
of the predefined SSID1. When the next time you enable Cisco Smart Connect
without factory reset, the last settings of the CSC wireless network that were
saved into the flash will be reloaded.
To enable Cisco Smart Connect on the CVR100W:
Log in to the web-based Device Manager of the CVR100W. See
with the Configuration
Choose Advanced Settings > Smart Connect. The Smart Connection page
opens.
In the Smart Connect filed, check Enable to enable Cisco Smart Connect on the
CVR100W. By default, Cisco Smart Connect is disabled.
Click Save.
After you enable Cisco Smart Connect, you must configure the CSC wireless
network of the CVR100W so that the wireless clients can use the CSC client
application on their CSC-enabled devices to associate with the CSC wireless
network.
There are two ways to configure the CSC wireless network:
•
Log into the web-based Device Manager and configure the CSC wireless
network in the Advanced Settings > Smart Connect page. See
Configuring the CSC Wireless Network Through the Web-based Device
Manager
for more information.
•
Install the CSC administrator application on a CSC-enabled device and then
use it to configure the CSC wireless network through a wireless connection.
