Cisco Unified IP Phone 7975G Administration Guide for Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.0 (SCCP and SIP)
OL-15790-01
Description
The administrator can assign features to line buttons.
Softkeys normally control these features; for example,
New Call, Call Back, End Call, and Forward All. When the
administrator configures these features on the line buttons,
they always remain visible, so users can have a "hard" New
Call key.
Provides a secure (encrypted) connection between two
phones. A security tone is played at the beginning of the
call to indicate that both phones are protected. Some
features, such as conference calling, shared lines,
Extension Mobility, and Join Across Lines are not
available when protected calling is configured. Protected
calls are not authenticated.
Allows users to use the QRT softkey on a phone to submit
information about problem phone calls. QRT can be
configured for either of two user modes, depending upon
the amount of user interaction desired with QRT.
Allows users to call the most recently dialed phone number
by pressing a softkey.
Identifies ring type used for a line when a phone has
another active call.
