Catalyst 3550 Switch Cisco IOS Commands

l2protocol-tunnel cos

Use the l2protocol-tunnel cos global configuration command to configure class of service (CoS) value
for all tunneled Layer 2 protocol packets. Use the no form of this command to return to the default
setting.
Syntax Description

Defaults
If a CoS value is configured for data packets for the interface, the default is to use this CoS value for
tunneled Layer 2 protocol packets. If no CoS value is configured for the interface, the default is 5.

Usage Guidelines
When enabled, the tunneled Layer 2 protocol packets use this CoS value.
The value is saved in NVRAM.
Examples
This example shows how to configure a Layer-2 protocol-tunnel CoS value of 7:
Switch(config)# l2protocol-tunnel cos 7
