Advanced Call Handling

You can configure your phone for a variety of call preference features.

Speed dialing allows you to enter an index number, press a button, or select a phone screen item to

place a call.

If you want to...

Set up Speed Dials

on your phone

Use speed-dial

buttons

Then...

1. Press

> Call Preferences > Speed Dial Lines.

2. Scroll to highlight Line 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.

3. Press Edit.

4. Enter a brief description for the selected speed dial line for New Label.

5. Scroll to select New Number line.

6. Press Number and enter a number for the selected speed dial line.

7. Press Accept if the New Label and New Number are correct.

8. Repeat Step 2 through 7 to set a speed dial for another line, if available.

To place a call, press

(a speed-dial button).
