I Nähen von verdichteten Stichen
Wenn die Verdichtungsstichscheibe w auf eine positive Zahl eingestellt ist, werden beim Betätigen des Umkehrhebels

Verriegelungsstiche mit der eingestellten Stichlänge in der normalen Nährichtung genäht.
Wenn die Verdichtungsstichscheibe w auf "0" eingestellt wird, werden beim Betätigen des Umkehrhebels
•
Verriegelungsstiche ohne Materialvorschub genäht.
Hinweis:
Die Verdichtungsstichscheibe w kann nicht auf eine größere Zahl als die mit der Transporteneinstellscheibe e
eingestellte Zahl eingestellt werden.

I Verriegeln
Wenn die Verdichtungsstichscheibe w auf eine negative Zahl eingestellt ist, werden beim Betätigen des Umkehrhebels
Verriegelungsstiche mit der eingestellten Stichlänge in Rückwärtsrichtung genäht.
Hinweis:
Es ist nicht möglich größere Stiche als die mit der Transporteneinstellscheibe e eingestellte Stichlänge zu nähen.

Backtack stitches with short stitch lengths can be sewn
easily during sewing just by pressing the reverse lever
q.
This is useful for preventing fraying of the seam at the
sewing end.
Before sewing, turn the condense dial w to the left or
•
right to set the stitch length for these shorter backtack
stitches.
* The numbers on the dial are for use as a guide. The
length of the finished stitches may vary depending on
the type and thickness of material being sewn. Adjust
while looking at the finished stitches.

Verriegelungsstiche mit kurzer Stichlänge können
einfach durch Drücken des Umkehrhebels q genäht
werden.
Damit kann ein Ausfransen am Nahtende verhindert
werden.

Drehen vor dem Nähbeginn die Verdichtungsstich-
scheibe w nach links oder rechts, um die Stichlänge für
diese kürzeren Verriegelungsstiche einzustellen.
* Die Nummern auf der Scheibe dienen nur als
Anhaltspunkt. Die Stichlänge kann von der Art und der
Dicke des Nähguts abhängen. Führen Sie die Einstellung
anhand von Probestichen aus.
I Sewing condensed stitches
When the condense dial w is set to a positive number,
•
backtack stitches with a stitch length that matches the
dial setting will be sewn in the normal sewing direction
while the reverse lever is pressed.
If the condense dial w is set to "0", backtack stitches
•
will be sewn without the material being fed while the
reverse lever is pressed.
Note:
The condense dial w cannot be set to a number which
is greater than the setting on the feed adjustment dial
e.

I Backtacking
When the condense dial w is set to a negative number,
backtack stitches with a stitch length that matches the dial
setting will be sewn in the reverse sewing direction while
the reverse lever is pressed.
Note:
It is not possible to sew stitches which are longer than
the stitch length set using the feed adjustment dial e.
