Connecting to the Device The following describes the various methods for accessing the ROS-F console and Web interfaces on the device. For more detailed instructions, refer to the RUGGEDCOM ROS-F User Guide for the RUGGEDCOM RSG2488F. Serial Console and Management Ports Connect a workstation directly to the serial console or management ports to access the boot-time control and ROS-F interfaces.
Communication Ports Connect any of the available Ethernet ports on the device to a management switch and access the ROS-F console and Web interfaces via the device's IP address. The factory default IP address for the RUGGEDCOM RSG2488F is https://192.168.0.2.
