Clean Radiator and Oil Cooler
Remove debris from rear screen, oil cooler and radiator
daily, clean more frequently in dirty conditions.
IMPORTANT: Never spray water onto a hot engine
as damage to engine may occur.
1. Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting units,
stop engine, engage parking brake, and remove key
from the ignition switch.
CAUTION
If engine has been running, the radiator may be
hot and cause burns. Work on radiator only when
the engine and radiator are cool.
2. Unlatch and remove rear screen. Clean screen thor-
oughly.
3. Unscrew knobs and pivot oil cooler rearward. Clean
both sides of oil cooler thoroughly with compressed air.
4. Open hood and clean engine area thoroughly of all
dirt and debris. Blow debris from radiator out toward
back of machine with compressed air.
Note: Fan shroud may be easily unbolted from ma-
chine to simplify cleaning.
5. Close hood and secure latch.
6. Pivot oil cooler back into position and tighten knobs.
Install rear screen and secure latches.
