Models 840/SB3 System Unit – Power Subframe Assembly (PB1)
Refer to "Assembly 6: Models 840 and SB3 Processor Tower– Final Assembly,
Front" on page 828 and perform the following steps.
Refer to "Assembly 7: Models 840 and SB3 Processor Tower – Final Assembly,
Rear" on page 832 and then perform the following steps from the *** REAR *** of
the system.

10. Remove the battery charger.
11. Remove the AC box.
12. Remove the Rear AMD EMC access plate.
13. Remove the rear AMDs.

3. Disconnect the AC power cord.
4. Remove the front and rear system covers (see "Models 840/SB3 – Covers" on
page 690).
5. Remove the Bulk Power EMC access plate covering the AMDs and bulk
power supplies.
6. Remove the screws from the bulk power supplies and AMD assemblies.
7. Slide out the bulk power supplies and AMD assemblies far enough so that
they are disconnected from their power connectors.
8. Remove the Battery Backup EMC access plate.
9. Remove the battery.
