We recommend that you connect to the console port to avoid losing your connection.
Step 2
Disable the DHCP server.

You can reenable DHCP using new client IP addresses after you change the management IP address. You
can also enable and disable the DHCP server in the Firepower Chassis Manager at Platform Settings >
DHCP.
Example:
firepower-2110# scope system
firepower-2110 /system # scope services
firepower-2110 /system/services # disable dhcp-server
firepower-2110 /system/services* # commit-buffer
Step 3
Configure an IPv4 management IP address, and optionally the gateway.

To keep the currently-set gateway, omit the gw keyword. Similarly, to keep the existing management IP
address while changing the gateway, omit the ip and netmask keywords.
