2. Place the bottom of the side panel onto the ridge on the bottom of the rack.

3. Slide the top of the side panel into place and close the locking latches.
4. At the rear of the rack, unlock the door using the DR2 door key and open it.
5. Lock the side panel by sliding the slide bar to the locked position (see figure )
6. Close the rear door and lock it using the DR2 door key.

This section describes field replacement procedures for the DR550 SSAM Server
component.

v This procedure should only be performed if directed from an isolation procedure
v This battery is used only in the SSAM Server within the DR1 model of the
Rechargeable battery maintenance tasks described in this section include displaying
rechargeable battery information, forcing a rechargeable battery error, and
replacing the rechargeable cache battery pack.
Displaying rechargeable battery information
To display information about the controller's rechargeable battery, do the
following:
1. Navigate to the PCI-X SCSI Disk Array Manager.
Note: Depending on which side panel is being replaced, the slide bar is located
on the left or right interior wall.
