Communication Ports Bracket
4.7.1 Removing the Communication Ports Bracket
1.
Turn off the power to the T3300SL. Disconnect the AC adapter and all external cables
connected to the computer.
2.
Remove the HDD and battery pack case assembly as instructed in Section 4.6.
3.
Reposition the 150-pin expansion port away from the system board.
4.
Disconnect the AC adapter socket flexible cable from pressure plate connector PJ21 on
the system board and PJ1 on the power supply board. Remove the single M2x4 screw
securing the AC adapter socket to the communication ports bracket (Figure 4-17).
5.
Slide the AC adapter socket out of the cutout on the communication ports bracket, being
careful not to damage the HDD cable, and remove the AC adapter socket and its cable
(Figure 4-17).
CAUTION: Be careful when removing the AC adapter socket and cable from the computer.
They may easily tangle with the HDD cable.
