NOTE:
When disconnecting the BD-V3500HD, follow
these steps in reverse order. Be sure to unplug
the BD-V3500HD's power cord first.
SETTING UP THE TV
Follow the steps in the table to set up your TV for
cable.
STEP
Turn the BD-V3500HD and the TV

on.
Select the correct input on the TV:
video/audio, S-Video, Y-Pb-Pr
(component video), or DVI (digital

video), depending on how you
have connected it.
Press SETTINGS on the remote
control, and use the resolution/
aspect ratio setting menus to select

the setting that appears properly
on your TV. The steps to follow
may appear in a separate manual
from your cable company.
Use your remote control's TV

POWER button to turn the TV on
and off.
TURNING OFF THE BD-V3500HD
To turn off the BD-V3500HD home terminal, press
the CBL POWER button on the remote control, or
the POWER button on the BD-V3500HD.
You can use your remote's TV POWER button to
turn the TV on/off if you have set up the remote
with the correct TV code.
VCR RECORDING
The BD-V3500HD has an optional IR CONTROL.
Please refer to the IR CONTROL CABLE instruction
manual.

TROUBLESHOOTING
NO TV PICTURE?
Use the checklist in the table if you followed all the
instructions but still do not see a picture on your
television.

input been selected on the TV?

If no picture on one input, try
the others.
No video on Y-Pb-Pr outputs?
Make sure the Digital Video

Output is not connected to a
TV. When connected, the Y-
Pb-Pr outputs are switched off.
