Thank you for purchasing a Honeywell EQUIP Series Fixed Mini Dome
Network Camera. Before installing the camera, please verify your
model and read this guide carefully:

12 VDC/24 VAC models require the use of CSA
Certified/UL Listed Class 2 power adapters to ensure
compliance with electrical safety standards. Power
over Ethernet (PoE) should meet the IEEE 802.3 af
PoE standard.

Use the mounting template to mark and pre-drill the holes.
Remove the gimbal from the enclosure base so you can easily
access the mounting holes (see illustration below).

Squeeze the 4 black
tabs until they are
free of the black
clips.

Elevate the hinge
until the gimbal is
above the housing
and you have
access to the
camera board
connections and
mounting holes.
Install the conduit plug
into the unused conduit
entry (see illustration
below). The HD4DIP
comes with the conduit
plug pre-installed in the
conduit entry on the
back of the housing. This
plug may be removed
and installed in the side
conduit entry.
Connect the cables through the back or side conduit entries.

Mount the camera to a wall or ceiling using the supplied screws.
To prevent moisture from entering housing:
Position the enclosure with the conduit pointing down. Apply
sealant around the conduit connection and mounting screws.
Replace the gimbal by reinserting the black tabs into the black
clips before installing the dome enclosure.
