Installation Overview
Pole Mounting the AP with Horizontal Bracket
You can use the horizontal mounting bracket to mount the AP horizontally to a pole.
Step 1
Attach the bracket to the pole using the band clamps as shown in the following figure.
Step 2
Attach the AP to the bracket, using four M6 bolts. Torque the bolts to 53-70 in-lbs.
Step 3
Alternate AP attach:
a) After the bracket is mounted to the pole, partially insert two of the M6 bolts into the bracket in the locations that align
with the keyhole slots on the IW9167I access point.
b) Align the IW9167I keyhole slots with the partially installed M6 bolts, insert and shift the IW9167I so that the bolts
are going through the narrow part of the keyhole.
Note
c) Install the remaining two bolts and tighten all four bolts to 53-70 in-lbs.

Never leave the AP unit unattended in this state. The AP must always be supported.
