TROUBLESHOOTING
If you run into any problems using the set-top box, try restarting the device first. We have also included a few tips for
handling certain problems.
RESTARTING THE SET-TOP BOX
• You can restart the device in the following two ways:
• By Disconnecting and reconnecting the power cable from the power outlet or the device, or
• Using the Settings > Technical settings > System > Reboot menu.
NO PICTURE
• Verify that the TV and the receiver are plugged into an electrical outlet that is not controlled by a wall switch.
• Verify that both devices are turned on.
• Verify that the TV and the set-top box are properly connected.
• Verify that the TV is set to the proper input channel.
NO COLOR
• Verify that the current TV program is broadcast in color.
• Adjust the TV color controls.
• Verify that all cables are properly connected.
NO SOUND
• Verify that all cables are properly connected.
• Verify that the TV is set to the proper input channel.
• Verify that the volume is turned on both devices and that the Mute function is not turned on.
THE SET-TOP BOX IS NOT RESPONDING TO THE REMOTE CONTROL
• Remove any obstacles between the remote control and the set-top box.
• Check the batteries and replace them, if needed.
• Place the receiver closer to the edge of the shelf.
• Some TVs (particularly plasmas), can interfere with the operation of the remote control, because they also transmit IR
signals. Try to move the set-top box.
