Use
the template (part #800-03689)
and pre-drill the 3 mounting screw holes in the ceiling.
Install the 3 mounting screws (supplied). You might want to
use drywall screws (not supplied).
Slide spacer (supplied) onto the camera mount. Align the
screw holes in the spacer to the keyhole slots on the mount.
Connect the wiring.
Mount the camera in the ceiling by fitting the large ends of
the keyhole slots and the screw holes in the spacer over the
large ends of the mounting screws, then rotating the
camera mount counter-clockwise to lock into place.
Tighten the mounting screws to secure the HD5.
The Pendant Mount kit
is optional.
These installation
instructions assume the
mount for the fixed
camera dome has
already been installed in
the pendant. The top
pendant dome requires
a ¾" NPT (National Pipe
Thread) or straight pipe
thread connection.
Loosen the three Phillips
head screws on the pendant mount. DO NOT REMOVE
THE SCREWS.
Connect the BNC or UTP video cable and the power cable.
Secure the camera mounting plate onto the top dome.
Tighten the three Phillips head screws.
Your local state regulations might require that all
wiring be contained within a metal box. If you
have a BNC connection, you will need a Back
Box Extender Kit (part

space for the BNC connector and the coiled
wires. Please follow the installation instructions
included with that kit.
The back box is not supplied by Honeywell.

Attach the winged bracket and the extender to the back
box.
Pull the field-run camera power and video coaxial cable
through one of the knockouts in the back box (not supplied).
You need 6 inches of slack cable from the back box to the
dome camera so you can easily make the connections.
Push the back box with winged bracket through the hole.
Push the two screw heads flush with the box to ensure the
winged bracket goes all the way through the ceiling hole and
then springs out.
