2) Watch for oil flowing through the oil feed pipes. After any air in the oil lines has been expelled, the Yamaha 212023 oil injection system should supply oil normally. If no oil has begun flowing after 10 minutes of idling, consult your Yamaha dealer.
While many additives available may reduce deposits, Yamaha recommends the use of Ring Free Fuel Additive, avail- able from your Yamaha dealer. Ring Free has repeatedly proven its ability to clean combustion deposits from inside the engine, notably the critical piston-ring- land area, and fuel system components.

1. Be sure your new Yamaha is registered for warranty. Your boat dealer should do this at the time of sale. Make sure your dealer gives you a copy of the completed Yamaha regis- tration card for your records.

5. Your warranty applies specifically to repairs made in the country of purchase. If your U.S.-purchased Yamaha needs warranty service while in Canada, or your Canadian pur- chased Yamaha needs service while in the United States, Yamaha will assist the local dealer whenever possible. Owner’s Manual. The owner of the outboard motor shall give notice to an authorized Yamaha marine dealer of any and all apparent defects within ten (10) days of discovery and make the motor available at that time for inspection and repairs at the dealer’s place of business.
