Safety when connecting up

Safety notices for operation with a power supply according to NEC Class 2
Operate the device with a power supply according to NEC Class 2. When connecting up the
device, keep to the safety notices listed below.
Power supply
The device is designed for operation with a directly connectable safety extra low voltage (SELV)
from a limited power source (LPS).
The power supply therefore needs to meet at least one of the following conditions:
• The conditions for ES1, PS2 according to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 or SELV/LPS according to IEC/UL/
• The conditions for NEC Class 2 according to the National Electrical Code (r) (ANSI/NFPA 70)
If the equipment is connected to a redundant power supply (two separate power supplies),
both must meet these requirements.
Power supply
The device is designed for operation with a directly connectable power supply according to UL/
IEC 61010-1 and UL/IEC 61010-2-201 whose output power corresponds to "Limited Energy"
according to UL/IEC 61010-1.
If the equipment is connected to a redundant power supply (two separate power supplies),
both must meet these requirements.
