Configuration
To configure the Valet Connector's wireless connection
settings, use a wireless network configuration utility. If
you have such a utility on your computer, refer to that
utility'sdocumentationforinstructionsonuse.Otherwise,
follow the instructions in the appropriate section below
touseyouroperatingsystem'sbuilt-inutility:Windows 7,
page 4,Windows Vista,page 5,orWindows XP,page 7.

AfteryouhaveinstalledtheValetConnector,theWireless
Network Configuration utility icon appears on your
computer'ssystemtray.

(If you do not see the icon, click the Show hidden icons
arrow inthesystemtray.)
Whenyourmousepointerhoversovertheicon,thestatus
informationofyourwirelessconnectionappears.

listofavailablewirelessnetworksappears.

3. If your network does not use wireless security, go to
step5.
4. Enterthesecuritykey,WiredEquivalentPrivacy(WEP)
key,orWi-FiProtectedAccess(WPA/WPA2)passphrase
(alsoknownasapre-sharedkey),dependingonyour
typeofsecurity.ClickOK.

connectstoyournetwork.Donotcancel,unlessyou
wanttoendtheconnection.
