Before connecting the instrument to other electronic components, turn off the power of all the components. Also, before turning any components on or off, make sure to set all volume levels to minimum (0). Otherwise, damage to the components, electrical shock, or even permanent hearing loss may occur.

Even when the [1 ] (Standby/On) switch is in standby status, electricity is still flowing to the instrument at the minimum level. Remove the electric plug from the outlet when the instrument is not to be used for extended periods of time, or during electrical storms. NOTICE While recording or editing, or while a message is displayed, the power cannot be turned off even if you press the [1 ] (Standby/On) switch.
Data Backup Completing the backup/restore operation may take a few minutes. Do not turn off the power during backup or restoring. Recording your Performance in the Piano Room The recorded data will be lost if you turn the power off without executing the Save operation. To hear the recorded performance, press one of the [2 ]/[3 ] (3 ) buttons. To stop playback, use the [ 4 ]/[5 ] (+ ) buttons.
