WARNINGS
1. Do not mount MicroCel with integral damper
actuator where acid fumes or other corrosive
vapors might contact and corrode metal parts.
2. Do not mount MicroCel with integral damper
actuator where there is escaping gas or other
explosive vapors. The electrical arcing in the
actuator could cause an explosion.
NOTE: The R7516B is furnished with a 4074ENH Bag
Assembly that contains a 201391 Shaft
Adapter ("Shaft Adapter") and a 201614
Range Stop Pin ("Pin"), which are used in the
following procedure.

Before installing, determine the following:
a.
Direction the damper shaft moves to open the
damper (Fig. 6): cw or ccw
b.
Size of damper shaft: 3/8 or 1/2 in. (9 or 12 mm)
NOTE: Damper shaft must extend at least 2-1/2 in.
(63 mm) from damper housing.

Fig. 6. Determining Direction of Damper Opening.
Position damper shaft so that damper is in most
clockwise position (Fig. 6):
a. Open for cw-to-open damper.
b. Closed for ccw-to-open damper.
CAUTION
To prevent serious control problems, do not position
cw-to-open dampers that do not have a full-open
damper stop at a setting greater than full open.
Loosen two cover mounting screws on MicroCel and
remove cover.
If damper shaft is 3/8 in. (9 mm) round or square, insert
Shaft Adapter into actuator output hub (Fig. 7) across
from Allen setscrews.
