Introduction The RUGGEDCOM M2200 is a rugged, fully managed, modular Ethernet switch specifically designed to operate reliably in electrically harsh and climatically de- manding utility substation, railway and industrial environments. The RUGGEDCOM M2200’s superior rugged hardware design coupled with the embedded Rugged Op- erating System (ROS) provides improved system reliability and advanced cyber secu- rity and networking features, making it ideally suited for creating Ethernet networks for mission-critical, real-time, control applications.
