CAUTIONS: 1. In case of a lightning storm, unplug the modem cable
1. Plug one end of the modular cable into the modem jack.
2. Plug the other end of the modular cable into a telephone jack.

CAUTION: Do not pull on the cable or move the computer while the
cable is connected.
NOTE: If you use a storage device such as an optical media drive or
HDD connected to a 16-bit PC card, modem speed might be slow or
communication might be interrupted.
Disconnecting
To disconnect the internal modem cable, follow the steps below.
1. Pinch the lever on the connector in the telephone jack and pull out the
connector.
2. Disconnect the cable from the computer in the same manner.
3. In the same way, pull the cable's other connector out of the computer.
Wireless LAN
The Wireless LAN is compatible with other LAN systems based on Direct Se-
quence Spread Spectrum /Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing radio
technology that complies with IEEE802.11 wireless LAN standard
(Revision A, B or G) and Turbo Mode.
