Description of Problem
Leadingedge of the recording paper fails
to reach the Registration Sensor.
Recording paper has not completely
passed the Registration Sensor.
No recording paper.
The length of the received document is
over 380mm.
(Used in France only)
Print Cartridge is not installed.
Out of ink.
Carriage does not move.
Ink Cartridge is dried up.
Pressure plate is not positioned prop-
erly.
RP Sensor does not go ON within 10
seconds after the document starts feed-
ing.
Transmitting document was longer than
1,050mm (or 41.3 in)
Transmitting document was shorter than
70mm (2.8 in)
Cover open.
Error for GPB guard time over. (Printer)
Communication error with GPB.
T1 timer (35 5 sec) elapsed without
detecting 300 bps signal.
DCN was returned from receiver while
transmitter is waiting for CFR or FTT.
DCN was returned from receiver while
transmitter is waiting for NSF/DIS.
Transmitter had no polling function.
Recording paper jam.
Registration Sensor abnormal.
Recording paper jam.
No recording paper or paper is not set
properly. Recording Paper Sensor is
defective or it is not mounted properly.
Print Cartridge is defective or Out-of-ink.
Cradle contacts are damaged or dirty.
IM Detection Sensor defective.
SC PCB defective.
Recording paper jam.
Obstruction in the Carriage path.
Encoder Strip dirty or damaged.
Clean the Ink Cartridge.
Replace the Pressure plate position
micro switch.
Document is not set properly.
Defective RP Sensor.
The document may be jammed.
Defective Registration Sensor.
Document may get jammed.
Defective RP Sensor.
Cover is not firmly closed.
Connectors are not firmly connected.
GPB ROM defective
GPB RAM defective
GPB ASIC defective
Wrong number is dialed and the START
button is pushed.
Telephone line is disconnected while
dialing.
SC PCB (Modem) or NCU PCB is
defective. Receiver is defective. (It may
only be transmittingCED)
No mailbox available in the receiver
Possible incompatibility. (Password
Transmission)
Receiver might work in non-ITU-T mode
only.(Possibleincompatibility)
POLLED=ON (polling XMT ready) is not
set at the transmitter.
Document to be transmitted is not
placed at thetransmitter.
