    Description General Overview SIMODRIVE POSMO A is an intelligent distributed positioning drive on the PROFIBUS DP field bus (DP standard slave). The power unit and all of the motion control are located in the motor. All of the signals and data for commissioning and operating the drive are transferred via the PROFIBUS DP.
