View Current Security Features on Phone
All Cisco IP Phones that support Cisco Unified Communications Manager use a security profile, which defines
whether the phone is nonsecure, authenticated, or encrypted. For information about configuring the security
profile and applying the profile to the phone, see Cisco Unified Communications Manager Security Guide.
Procedure
Step 1
Press Applications.
Step 2
Choose Administrator Settings > Security Setup.
View Security Profiles
All Cisco IP Phones that support Cisco Unified Communications Manager use a security profile, which defines
whether the phone is nonsecure, authenticated, or encrypted. For information about configuring the security
profile and applying the profile to the phone, see the documentation for your particular Cisco Unified
Communications Manager release.
Procedure
Step 1
In Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, select System > Security > Phone Security
Profile.
Step 2
Look at the Security Mode setting.
