Reconnect any interface cables to the PRE if necessary.
Install the PCMCIA card in the PRE if necessary (see the
Installing a PCMCIA Flash Memory Card" section on page

If you do not screw down the cover of the PCMCIA slot on the PRE, the open
cover exposes the unit to the risk of a harmful ESD event, and might cause
electromagnetic interference (EMI) above the prescribed levels.
Refer to the Cisco 10000 Series ESR Software Configuration Guide for
information about configuring the PRE if necessary.
It is not necessary to configure the PRE if this is a second PRE installation
