About This Document Overview This document describes how to use the touch panel and Telepresence System Manager for the HUAWEI TP3106&TP3118&TP3118S telepresence systems, providing guidance on initiating and controlling conferences. NOTE To go back to your previous position, press Alt+←.
Using the Telepresence System Manager, you can configure and control devices in the telepresence system. For details about how to configure and control the telepresence system, see the HUAWEI TP3106&TP3118&TP3118S Telepresence System Manager Online Help. 2.2.1 Setting the Product Model Context You can set which product model is controlled by the Telepresence System Manager.
Step 4 Click Save. ----End 2.2.4 Configuring the Devices Context You must configure the devices in the TP3106 independently from the Telepresence System Manager. Procedure Step 1 Log in to the Telepresence System Manager as the super administrator. Step 2 Click Wizard, and follow the instructions to set the parameters. You can also configure the following devices independently from the device topology: l Codec: Set the network parameters for the codecs.

DNS 2 Specify the IP address of the alternate domain name server (DNS). Procedure Step 1 After the wireless connection is successful, confirm that the Huawei Telepresence application is installed. The connection dialog box is displayed on the touch panel.

User Guide 13 Glossary telepresence host The telepresence host is the core control device of the Huawei telepresence V2.0. All the telepresence system devices, such as codecs, are connected to the telepresence host through serial ports or network interfaces. In addition, the telepresence host provides the functions of an audio-visual matrix and the function of intelligent audio mixing.
