Jams Document jams – If the unit does not release the document during feeding, remove the jammed document as follows. Open the front cover by pulling up the center part. Replacing the handset Replace the battery with a new Panasonic rechargeable battery Model No. P-P504. See page 8 for accessory information. To prevent memory loss, replace the battery within 3 minutes. Press down on the arrow and slide the handset cover.
Cleaning Document feeder! If misfeeding occurs frequently or if dirty patterns or black bands appear on a transmitted document or on the original of a copied document, clean the document feeder. Disconnect the power cord and the telephone line cord. Open the front cover by pulling up the center part.
Thermal head! If dirty patterns or black or white bands appear on a copied or received document, check whether there is dust on the thermal head and clean the thermal head to remove the dust. Disconnect the power cord and the telephone line cord.
