Connecting the Hydraulic
Drive
No Parts Required
Procedure
Important: For your safety the cutter-valve, electrical
connector has been disconnected to disable the
operation of the cutter drive. Connect the electrical
connector after all hose line connections have been
made correctly.

WARNING
Hydraulic fluid escaping under pressure can
penetrate skin and cause injury.

• Make sure that all hydraulic fluid hoses and
lines are in good condition and all hydraulic
connections and fittings are tight before
applying pressure to the hydraulic system.
• Keep your body and hands away from pin
hole leaks or nozzles that eject high pressure

hydraulic fluid.
• Use cardboard or paper to find hydraulic leaks.
• Safely relieve all pressure in the hydraulic system
before performing any work it.
• Seek immediate medical attention if fluid is
injected into your skin.
Note: Some hydraulic fluid loss may occur.
1. Turn off the cutting units, lower them, stop the engine,
engage the parking brake, and remove the ignition key.
2. Clean the areas around the hydraulic ports and the
hydraulic-hose ends

3. Identify the 3 hydraulic hose lines and ports. Refer
to
Figure 5
Perform the following process for each connection:
A. Remove the hose-line plug.
B. Remove the port cap.
C. Connect the hose to the port.
