3.

Do not install near any heat sources such as radia-
tors, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (in-

9.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized
or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two
blades with one wider than the other. A ground-
ing type plug has two blades and a third ground-
ing prong. The wide blade or the third prong are
provided for your safety. If the provided plug does
not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for
replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10.
Protect the power cord from being walked on or
pinched particularly at plugs, convenience recep-
tacles, and the point where they exit from the ap-
paratus.
11.
Only use attachments/accessories specified by the
manufacturer.
12.
Use only with the cart, stand,

when unused for long periods of time.
14.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Servicing is required when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord

apparatus.
17.
Do not place this product or any other objects on
the power cord or place it in a position where any-

power or connecting cords of any kind. The use
of an extension cord is not recommended! If you
must use an extension cord, the minimum wire
size for a 25' cord (or less) is 18 AWG. NOTE:
The smaller the AWG number, the larger the cur-

liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through
any openings that may exist.
20.
This product, either alone or in combination with
an amplifier and headphones or speaker/s, may be
capable of producing sound levels that could cause
permanent hearing loss. DO NOT operate for a
long period of time at a high volume level or at a
level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any
hearing loss or ringing in the ears, you should con-
sult an audiologist. IMPORTANT: The louder the
sound, the shorter the time period before damage
occurs.
21.
Some Yamaha products may have benches and/
or accessory mounting fixtures that are either sup-
plied as a part or the product or as optional ac-
cessories. Some of these items are designed to be
dealer assembled or installed. Please make sure
that benches are stable and any optional fixtures
(where applicable) are well secured BEFORE us-
ing. Benches supplied by Yamaha are designed for
seating only. No other uses are recommended.
22.
Make sure that the plug of the power cable can
easily be disconnected from the AC outlet as a
