Power Function
The Power function "P" enables you to increase the output of the front
two cooking zones for 10 minutes.
With this function, you can, for example, bring a large quantity of
water rapidly to the boil or brown meat very well.

The cooking zone must be selected in order to switch on the Power
function (decimal point in the display). Touch the "Power function"
sensor field
active.
The Power function is activated for a maximum of 10 minutes. Then

the cooking zone switches automatically to cooking stage 9.

The Power function can be interrupted as follows:
• Touch the "Power function" sensor field
• Touch the sensor field
As soon as the Power function is activated for one of the front cooking

zones, less heating capacity is provided for the rear cooking zones.
If the Power function at the front right cooking zone is activated, the
maximum heat output setting for the rear left cooking zone is "8".
If the Power function of the front left cooking zone is activated, the
maximum possible heat output setting for the rear right cooking zone
is "7".
If a higher setting than 7 or 8 is set in this case for the rear cooking
zones, the display of the relevant rear cooking zone then alternately
shows the different settings (e.g. 7 and 9).
As soon as the Power function has ended (maximum after 10 minutes),
the rear cooking zones automatically change to the previously set heat
setting.
