Next, use your fingers to extract the rubber Cap [18] sideways from the Lever (C) [22]. Remove the Special Bolt M5 [21]. The Blade Holder (C) [5], Lever (C) [22], Blade Spring [23], Holder Pin (B) [19], and Spring (B) [20] can now be removed from the Plunger (F) [12]. Be careful not to lose or damage the Spring (B) [20].

3. Disassembling the Second Shaft (F) (Fig. 5) First, remove the Ball Bearing 608VVC2PS2L [33] from the Second Shaft (F) [31]. With a lateral surface of the Gear (F) [32] being received, use a press to push the end face of the Second Shaft (F) [31] and remove the Gear (F) [32] from the Second Shaft (F) [31].

5. Disassembling the Inner Cover (F) and Armature (Fig. 7) With the end face of the Inner Cover (F) [34] being received, use a press to push the pinion end face of the Armature [37] and extract the Armature [37]. Then remove the Ball Bearing 6001VVCMPS2L [35] after removing the two Slotted Hd.

7. Disassembling the Handle (G) and Switch (Fig. 9) Note the two lead wires connected to the Stator Ass’y [40] and the two lead wires connected to the Cord [61]. Loosen the machine screw on the Switch [53]. The Switch [53] can now be removed from the Handle (G) [57].

Reassembly Reassembly can be accomplished by following the disassembly procedures in reverse. However, particular attention should be given to the following items. 1. Mounting the Recipro Plate (F) assembly on the Second Shaft (F) (Fig. 11) For press-fitting, use the dedicated jig (J-315). First, form the Recipro Plate (F) [28] assembly by attaching the two Ball Bearings 6003VVCM (Nylon Retainer) [29] and Retaining Ring For D35 Hole [30] to the Recipro Plate (F) [28].

2. Mounting the Metal (B) on the Gear Cover (F) (Fig. 12) First, apply Nippeco SEP-3A to the inner periphery of the Metal (B) [10] and O-Ring [9], and then fit the O-Ring [9] into the internal groove of the Metal (B) [10]. Insert the Felt Washer [6], Washer (H) [7], and V-Ring [8] into the Gear Cover (F) [4] in this order.

4. Mounting the Plunger (F) on the Gear Cover (F) (Fig. 14) Apply Nippeco SEP-3A to the outer periphery of the Connector Pin (F) [13] and the inner periphery of the two Swing Rollers [14], and then incorporate these parts into the Plunger (F) [12]. Next, apply Nippeco SEP-3A to the polished portion of the Plunger (F) [12], and then insert the Plunger (F) [12] into the Gear Cover (F) [4].
