GENERAL INFORMATION The following should be considered when reviewing this Attendant User Guide: • Attendant console keys can be assigned as Direct Station Selection/Busy Lamp Field (DSS/BLF), Call Arrival/Virtual Extensions, central office lines or selected features. • Refer to the Multiline Telephone User Guide for additional information on telephone operation.
ATTENDANT ADD-ON CONSOLE Answering Calls When CO incoming ringing occurs: 1. Lift the handset. 2. Converse and process the call. Transferring Calls With a call in progress: 1. Press Transfer on the Multiline Terminal. 2. Press DSS/BLF key for the desired station. 3.
Placing Internal Calls To make a call within the organization: 1. Lift the handset. 2. Press the DSS/BLF key on the Attendant Add-On Console. 3. Voice announce after the tone burst. Wait for the ringing call to be answered. When calling a multiline telephone, dialing 1 after the station Note 1: number will change the ringing to voice or voice to ringing.

TRUNK TO TRUNK TRANSFER With an outside call in progress: 1. Press the Transfer key. 2. Dial the trunk access code, i. e. 9. 3. Dial the telephone number and wait for an answer. 4. Press the Transfer key. 5. Replace the handset. Once established, a trunk to trunk connection cannot be re-entered.
CODE RESTRICTION, DIAL BLOCK To set Dial Block for another extension: 1. Press the Speaker key. 2. Dial 601 (default). 3. Dial the 4-digit Dial Block code (as set in programming). 4. Dial the extension number to blocked. 5. Dial 1. Confirmation tone is heard.
Paging Using the Access Code To make an Internal Page announcement: 1. Press the Speaker key or lift the handset. 2. Dial 701 and the Paging Zone number (00~64). Dialing 00 calls All Call Internal Paging. Note: - OR - Dial *1 and the Combined Paging Group code 1~8 or 0 (for Internal/External All Call).
DIRECT INWARD SYSTEM ACCESS (DISA) To place a DISA call into the system (from an offsite DTMF type telephone): 1. Dial the telephone number that rings the DISA trunk. 2. Wait for the DISA trunk to automatically answer with a unique dial tone.

To forward an extension’s calls using a DISA call into the system (from an offsite DTMF type telephone): 1. Dial the telephone number that rings the DISA trunk. 2. Wait for the DISA trunk to automatically answer with a unique dial tone.
RECORDING VOICE PROMPTS To record a VRS message: 1. Lift the handset. 2. Dial 616. 3. Dial 7 (Record). 4. Dial the VRS message number you want to record (01~48). 5. When you hear, “Please start recording” followed by a beep, record your message.

To erase a previously recorded VRS message: 1. Press Speaker key. 2. Dial 616. 3. Dial 3 (Erase). 4. Dial the number of the VRS message you want to erase (01~48). 5. Press HOLD to cancel the procedure without erasing (and return to step 3).
PROGRAMMING SYSTEM SPEED DIAL To store a System or Group Speed Dialing number: 1. Press the Speaker key. 2. Dial 753 (for system) or 754 (for group). 3. Dial system or group storage code. Initially (Default), there are 1000 System Speed Dialing codes Note: (000~999).
Key for Entering Names Use this keypad When you want to. . . digit . . . # = Accepts an entry (only required if two letters on the same key are needed - ex: TOM). Pressing # again = Space. Conf Clears the character entry one character at a time (used when entering the Name).
