A discharge of static electricity from a finger or other conductor can destroy static-sensitive devices or microcircuitry.

Then slide the keyboard back until it rests on the display assembly (3). Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the keyboard cable is attached. Disconnect the cable (2), and then remove the keyboard.

    Description NOTE: To properly ventilate the device, allow at least a 7.6-cm (3-inch) clearance on the left side of the device. The device uses an electric fan for ventilation. The fan is controlled by a temperature sensor and is designed to turn on automatically when high temperature conditions exist.
