AUTOMATIC CHANNEL SET UP You can automatically program the tuner to scan only the channels you receive in your area. ¡ Channel memory programming is NOT needed when you connect the DVD/VCR to a cable box or a satel- lite box as in "DVD/VCR TO TV CONNECTION" on page 14.
TO ADD/DELETE CHANNELS When scanning, some channels may be skipped due to a weak signal. In such cases, you can add the channels to the DVD/VCR memory manually. Press MENU until the main menu appears. Select "CHANNEL SET UP" by pressing K or L.

COPYING A VIDEO TAPE You can make copies of video tapes made by friends or relatives for your enjoyment. Warning: Unauthorized recordings of copyrighted video tapes may be an infringement of copyright laws. Connect the recording DVD/VCR (this unit), the play- ing VCR (another source) and your TV using the fol- lowing diagram.
AUTO REWIND When a tape reaches the end during recording, play- back, or fast-forward, the tape will automatically rewind to the beginning. After rewinding finishes, the DVD/VCR will eject the tape and switch itself off. ¡ The DVD/VCR will not rewind the tape automati- cally during timer recording or One Touch Recording.

MARKER SETUP SCREEN Use markers to memorize your favorite places on a disc. Press SEARCH MODE repeatedly until Markers appear on the TV screen. Press Arrow (s/ B) to select 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 and ensure that “- : - - : - -” appears in the display.
PROGRAM (CD) You may determine the order in which tracks will play. In stop mode, press MODE. ¡ The PROGRAM screen will appear. Press Arrow ( ) to select a track, then press ENTER. ¡ Press CLEAR/C.RESET to erase the most recently entered program.

LANGUAGE SETTING Language options are not available on some discs. Press SETUP in STOP mode. Press Arrow ( ) to select CUSTOM, then press ENTER. ¡ CUSTOM mode will appear. Press Arrow (s/ B) to select LANGUAGE, then press ENTER to confirm.
