Installation
Extension jacks 1 through 4 are for all kinds of telephones.
Extension jacks 5 through 8 are only for digital proprietary
telephones. To make extension jacks 5 through 8 usable for all
kinds of telephones, a 4-SLT Extension Expansion Card (KX-
TD30870) must be installed.
The maximum length of the extension line cord (twisted cable)
which connects the system and the extension is as follows:

below. There are four pins for possible connection: "T", "I?', "Dl"
and "D2".
