Charging the battery (Fig.2) The battery charger provided matches the Lithium-ion battery installed in the tool. Do not use any other battery charger. The Lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharging. When the battery is empty, the tool is switched off by a protective circuit.

NOTE: The tool cannot be turned on by simply pressing the on/off switch. The safety switch must be simultaneously engaged. WARNING: Always attach the blade cover when the pruner is not in use. WARNING: To prevent children from using the tool, there's a safety lock hole in the trigger (B).
