    Battery Your i50sx phone comes with a Lithium Ion battery and charger. After attaching the battery, you must charge it before you use it for the first time. See “Batteries” on page 164 for the charging times for your phone’s battery. The first time you charge your phone’s battery, charge for 30 minutes more than the time shown on page 162.

  • Page 23 Enabling/Disabling the PIN Security Feature Once the PIN security feature is enabled, you are prompted to enter your PIN each time you turn on your phone. Until a valid PIN is entered, you can use the phone only to make emergency calls. After the PIN is accepted, the phone registers on the network and the idle screen displays.

    Maintaining Your Privacy with Per-Call and Per-Line Blocking Nextel provides two methods to prevent those you call from seeing your number on their own Caller ID displays. NOTE: Your Nextel phone number cannot be blocked from calls made to 911, 800, 855, 866, 877, 888, or other toll-free phone numbers.

    With alternate lines, you can separate business and personal calls, or designate one as a priority line. Nextel Mobile Messaging and Nextel Online services use the Line 1 phone number. You only need to subscribe to Caller ID or Voice Mail once — these services will be available on both lines.
