    GET STARTED CHAPTER 1 - About This Manual This User Guide provides installation and programming instructions for the HH1800 corded area-imaging scanner. Product specifications, dimensions, warranty, and customer support information are also included. Honeywell barcode scanners are factory programmed for the most common terminal and communications settings.

    Reading Techniques The HH1800 scanners have a view finder that projects a bright red dot aiming beam that corresponds to the scanner’s center of field of view. The aiming beam should be centered over the barcode for a good read.
